DuWayne Greene

Executive Director

Experienced, trustworthy, inquisitive, fun, and always laughing. These are just a few of the ways friends and fellow workers describe this member of our team. DuWayne has extensive experience of non-profit and for-profit organizations. He has spent most of his career in the hospitality industry as a Meeting & Event Planner. He started his own Meeting Management Company, Premier Meetings & Group Events, and co-founded Adventures in San Antonio–DMC (Destination Management Company) in 2001. He served many years as a board member of Meeting Professionals International’s Texas Hill Country Chapter and served as the MPI-THCC President from 2009-2010. He served seven years on the board of the Alamo Area Hospitality Association as an advisory member and two 3-year terms as their Treasurer. Theater, singing, and performing have always been his first loves, and he's excited about the opportunity to bring our mission of “The Arts by and for Seniors” to life.
